It’s already been established that we go above and beyond for our customers, however today has posed incredible challenges for our La Habra staff due to the INSANE heat here in California.
The power at my house has been down now for 35+ hours. We called Edison and they said our power has been restored .. but it hasn’t :(
Our servers have power and also our corporate office, but the air conditioner is on the fritz at La Habra, so we have around 30 fans blowing hot air at us right now.
I wish it was winter.

It’s one Crazy Summer so far!
It’s been Extremely Hot and especially Humid this year where I’m at.
over the last three weeks I figure the average temperature’s been about 29º(85ºF)+humidity
today, it’s 28º(83ºF) but feels more like 38º(99ºF)
no fun!

I hear a lot of data centers are down today with power issues. Maybe its the heat.

I really feel for other hosts who are down because of their data centers. If the DCs could get their act together it would make such a difference to downtime. I sincerely hope Ipower and Dreamhost are back online soon.
