I’m Finally HOME!
Author: Amy Armitage
Sheesh it’s been a crazy few weeks. I saw snow for the first time (Annual How to be a Snow Bunny Conference) in Colorado and this week I went to NEW YORK! My job is uber duber cool. Here are some pics I took with my phone. I woke up to a raging blizzard. Seriously I was stoked:

I woke up and saw this!

Obviously I didn’t BBQ

My best “Snow Bunny” look

I was mesmerized by the snow on my boots.. really.. it was a first for me ;)
New York.. New York!!
I was thrilled as we walked towards Central Park because I spotted Olivia Newton John! Chad had NO IDEA who she was.. omg isn’t GREASE the word?

That little blonde dot of a woman is her with her dog.

We got a nice couple to take our pic in Central Park and they didn’t steal our camera! WOW..

Chad thought he was Fred Astaire for a moment

And I was a NYPD undercover cop..
Speaking of NYPD.. omg hello handsome.. (my new boy toy)

The rule is anytime I have a camera it is possible the content goes on the blog. I made Chad pretend to be dead under a bridge in Central Park. I know how you all love it ;)

We caught like FIVE subways.. I was shakin in my boots at first.

Saw all the usual sights..

OH! And a stack of trash.. It was everywhere.. which leads me to dinner..

We ate at this dodgy place called “Dukes” and saw a mouse..

Caught up on the “Rare Views” .. lol
And we worked our butt’s off..

Drinking is a requirement of Business Development and bringing in the BIG SAVINGS for Lunarpages customers.. (it’s true)
And then the stumble back to the hotel..

Everything is sooooooo hilarious after 17 Coronas

Chad made a new friend..

Ummm.. Where is that dime I dropped?

I was fascinated with the steam coming up from the roads.. I added a cigarette to the shot for extra drama..

We saw the Mafia – FOR REAL!!! I had my heart set on real Italian food in Little Italy, Sinatra and The Mob.. You have no idea how tickled pink I was when they were standing outside and they welcomed us into their restaurant.

Ground Zero :(

And somehow managed to take this killer photo..
Chad dragged me around NY SHOPPING for women’s black suede boots. By the time the stores closed I was flogged, had sore feet and was huffing and puffing. It’s good to be home ;)

Happy to see you made it back! I’d love to go up there someday – but I am afraid the cold weather would chase me off pretty quickly. :)

New York ain’t cold! ;)
Try Ontario, in January, or February.
Looks like a great trip. Glad you enjoyed it!

Amy, you are too beautiful (and by the look of it, fun) to be a web hosting geek!

Hello Ames,
This is CCM (Captain Caveman) from Minds Collisions, and it’s nice to see how you look like after all this years. I’m not sure if you still remember me, but I was checking the old link for Minds Collisions and I found your blog so I figured I’d drop you a line. I hope that you like it here in America, and even though the beer is not so good here, but you have a wide base of admirers who will always appreciate this hot beauty from the down under. Finally, you look very beautiful, but you know what we all yearn for and I won’t say more.

Done, and done Ames; Captain Caveman has joined the party. I’ve been doing technical support for years now; so I’m family, but from across the neighborhood.

Oh tell me it isn’t for another hosting company
*gasp

No it’s just hardware support, mostly for those dummy salespeople. Don’t worry Ames; your biggest (and hairiest) secret admirer would never do such a thing.

Thank gawd ;)
We made you a welcome thread
