Overwhelmed with Christmas Wishes!!
Author: Amy Armitage
I love this time of year. It’s when the good stuff in comes out, feelings of appreciation are shared and a warm flow of love is upon us. The reason I’m bloggin this today, is because we have been literally overwhelmed with greeting and e-cards, phone calls and gifts from our customers this last week or so, and because we are unable to respond to all of your cards and emails personally, we hope this message serves as another way of saying thank you to you all.
I walked out today on the support floor and saw the phones were really jumping and asked our Customer Service Manager if something was up. His response was:
“Yes, people are lovin on us!”
“Lovin? Whatchu mean lovin?” - [Said like Arnold from Different Strokes - i.e. Whatchu talken bout?]
“They are calling in to say Merry Christmas and thanks for the awesome hosting, for listening to their feedback and making changes they asked for, stuff like that”
No Way!
Waaaaaaaay!
Nuh uhhhhhh..
Yah huhhh!!
“Wow.. that’s cool”
“Uh huh.. you’re cool amy!”
“OMG I Know!”

OK that last part didn’t really happen.. lol
Thank you, for choosing and trusting us to host your websites and for reaching out at this time of year. It really means the world to us.
Merry Christmas LunarLand ;)

Amy thank you! Since the new site launch I found this blog and I am really enjoying it! The best thing about you guys is that you pick up the phones (and you’re American - no Indian accents) and your tech support know wtf they are talking about.
If I call in to wish you a merry christmas will you answer the phone Amy? ;)

Sadly no.. I think I’m washing my hair that day ;)

Merry Christmas!
I just wanted to say… :)
I call myself a “web developer” only because I’m American, and we can say whatever we want. I’m actually a construction goon. Like, php… the extent of my knowledge? Yeah, the question mark, I see that all the time. But, my other site, I needed a forum, and fantistico, wasn’t. I knew about phpbb from elsewhere… just stuck in a bunch of stuff, clicked on install… not. So, I think for a moment, hmmm… name of database where installing… hmmmm… click on control panel… see this icon for “MySQL,” looks promising… Oh! Create database!
“Web developer.” If next I claim to be a neurosurgeon, be afraid, be very afraid…
So, hey, thanks for everything! You guys are great. If I ever run into a problem that I can’t solve by reading the directions, I’ll let you know…

Never have heard of that type of thing happening. I guess Lunarpages does have some of the nicest customers out there though. ;)

You guys…
Had me worried there for a bit. I see this “security issues with phpbb” forum… maybe I shouldn’t be so independent ‘n all… I got 2.0.21… no worries.
Thanks again!

Mitch - We have wonderful customers!! We got the nicest email in yesterday about Erin from a fella named Joe (He’s on the testimonials page now). He said he never usually takes the time to do this kind of stuff but he was totally impressed.
Doug - you’re so right (If you’re reading this). Customer Service makes a huge difference. I love our
littlegrowing community :)December 20th, 2006 at 1:34 am
I want a card… The guys out in LA have to email/send themselves cards. :(
Then again, it can be due to the fact we turn green during this time of season, steal the presents from the people at the corp. office that our lovely customers send, and change everyones desktop to the Grinch in a thong…! :D
Besides that, though… Admins need lub too!

Been here for around 3 years or so now…never a dull moment and still am impressed by all the professional, courteous folks here. I know the employees that work at LP (we know why don’t we Amy? ;-) ) and they are some of the industry’s best at what they do. Not a better place to host a site in my mind. That’s why all my customers’ sites are here.
Thanks for all you’ve been LP and here’s to where you’ll be!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and keep the Faith!
@ the LA Gang: send me an address and I’ll see to it you get something other than switches and coal in your stocking this year! ;-)

In any other community I belong I’m trying to make people see the supportive community you have here.
This really means something.
Keep up the good work!
