I have gone through many FTP clients. Some might even say I have tried them all. None of them seem to offer as much as FileZilla does. With any of the web hosting solutions that you pick up from Lunarpages, it is almost essential to have a good FTP client to access your hosting space.

This open source FTP client is loaded with features. The site manager allows you to store connection details about a number of web sites and FTP locations. The standard explorer interface also gives you a familiar face for your file transferring needs. It auto detects what uploading method you need to do (ascii/binary transfer) too. That is a definite check mark for the ease of use column. It also lets you know when a new version is out and auto-downloads and installs. It walks you through the entire process and it is not a pain to do.

FileZilla Pro: It has every FTP bell and whistle you would ever need.

FileZilla Con: Some new users may be intimidated by the interface.

To sum it all up, I would (and often do) suggest FileZilla as an awesome free application to both beginners and experts alike to handle all of their file transfers both from and to their Lunarpages hosting accounts.
