KompoZer is Nvu’s brother from another mother. As a complete web authoring program that combines web file management and easy-to-use WYSIWYG web page editing KompoZer delivers just as much (if not more) punch than Nvu.

It features you files on your left and your editing window on your right. From there you can go back and forth between the “preview” (how your site would look like when published) and editing mode as easily as you can click the tabs back and forth. Along with many more valuable features KompoZer is the hammer, nails, screwdriver and jackhammer you need for your web developer toolbelt.

KompoZer Pro: More bells and whistles than you can shake a server at.

KompoZer Con: The install might confuse some, you’ll need to unzip it for Windows and then hunt down the “kompozer.exe” to use inside of the unzipped folder.

KompoZer delivers where it counts. Not only does it include a color picker, tabs, CSS editing, forms, and markup cleaner it is also un-buggy and a solid program I would suggest for anybody to use as a companion to their Lunarpages hosting account.
