Minimize Sidebar in WordPress 2.7

I have a quick and easy tip for you this Monday morning.  Some people have complained that WordPress still have too cluttered of a feeling with the left sidebar replacing the old top sidebar.  Thankfully, for these people, the WordPress developers put in an extra user interface tweak you should enjoy.  You have seen the new sidebar, but did you know you can shrink it?

To go from the wide sidebar to the icons only sidebar, all you need to do is click on the divider between “Dashboard” and “Post” or between “Comments” and “Appearance”.  Doing so will toggle the sidebar from wide view to icon view and back again.
