WordPress Cache Plugins to Help Performance
Often, people ask me, what is the best way to lower the loads to the server resources if I am using a WordPress powered web site or blog?
Now there are a lot of various tips and tweaks you could do, however the easiest way to get the job done would be to try out some of the many cache plugins for the blogging platform. In the hosting world, cache is a duplicate of a web page or image that is stored elsewhere, when the original isn’t or shouldn’t be available.
Here are some of my favorite cache plugins for WordPress:
- Advanced Caching
- WP Super Cache
- Cache Images
- WP Cache Users
- WP-Cache
- Plugin Output Cache
- Hyper Cache
- CSS Cache Buster
- WP Cache Inspect
- DB Cache
Now should you use all of these? That would probably be a bad idea. I would suggest testing the ones that suite your needs best – and then next time you get hit with a surge of web site popularity, you should be ready to handle the load.
