Amy Armitage

About Amy: Amy met the owners of Lunarpages about 6 years ago on Lunarforums.com and like a classic girl to geekess cybertale, now lives in California with her very supportive & patient family [basically they accept Lunarpages comes first], their pet Chameleon “Google” and neurotic dog “Baxter Boomskibutt’. She avoids chick chat because it evokes emotion and the need to bish slap, needs 8 shots of coffee just to turn up to work and function, is a tragic romantic [i.e. trusting and gullible], has been known to walk head first into walls and consistently trip [her eyes are never off her phone screen], has the worst sense of direction we have EVER seen [it's that whole other side of the world flip] and she is a self-confessed internet junkie who is connected unless in a REM state. She writes for PingZine on a regular basis [because Keith harasses her until she caves], contributes random stuff at oisv.com and lately has become a ConfeRenceAholiC and world traveler [we never see her]. If anyone knows web hosting.. it’s Amy.

Danielle Wallace

About Dani: Her mom still calls her Danielle, but everyone else knows her as Dani. Usually found living in Iowa, Dani recently visited the Lunarpages crews in Las Vegas and Los Angeles after 3 years as a total recluse. Since she typically only goes out to watch movies (and to eat popcorn), her excursions invoked a huge shock to her system, however, she did enjoy having the chance to see the real Lunarpages Webhosting datacenters and people.

Spending her free time on Ruby on Rails tutorials or movie reviews (with the occasional time spent writing horror stories), Dani has 2 cats, lives with her mom, and is still single. No wonder eh? :)

The above image of Dani is her typical online persona called Elista, who is a character in the online fantasy interactive novel for her endar.org site. She also runs the famous RubyAsylum.com site where she pens fantastic tutorials on Ruby on Rails for Lunarpages customers. Long Live Ruby (and Rails, because well…DHH is hot)!

== – ==Tiara Rea

About Tiara: Tiara grew up in St. Charles, Missouri, a small (but growing!) town just outside of St. Louis. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in English at the Honors College of Adelphi University in New York, she took the longest road trip of her life and moved to California (much to her mother’s dismay), where she’s currently enjoying the strange, sunny winter. Considering herself a writer, poet, and musician, Tiara wears many hats in her spear time. Recently, she won some awesome awards in New York for her poetry and playwriting, has completed the first major draft of her first novel, In Jesus’ Name, and fronts the band Me & Mildred Against the World. A geek at heart, Tiara also knits and can quote Back to the Future off the top of her head.

Keith Duncan

About Keith: Keith used to have a bad habit of talking about everyone in the Hosting Industry and liked to share his opinions with anyone that would listen. Then one day he had a dream. A dream to put his thoughts on paper (real paper, magazine-style) and Ping! Zine was born. Now he spends his time talking about other people that write for him and going to lots of parties. When he isn’t at his office talking about people, he is on the golf course talking about other people.

Todd Austin

Todd Austin

About Todd: Born much more awesome than Kaanon, I showed a propensity for problem solving. I started out in the computing world programming a simple game on a then new Commodore 64 (using POKE and PEEK, yeah, I’m gettin old, but I can still take you…). In high school I learned more about Basic and began taking classes in my other main interest, art and drawing. I combined these disciplines in college, learning all I could about graphic design, typography and programming (C, C++ and Visual Basic). Currently I focus my energy in the design arena, only dipping into brief fits of programming, creating clean, beautiful, web standards compliant designs for the web. Like this blog you are currently reading. :)
