So you guys already knew it was coming – the Lunarpages WordPress Theme Design Contest Series 3 is now in session!

Series 1 of this contest gave us 95 Free WordPress Themes, Series 2 offers 134 Free WordPress Themes!!!

The rules, as usual, are quite similar with a couple really great additions. Please read through Ye Olde Official Rules carefully before submitting or feel free to ask us questions here on the blog or via email.

Nearly everyone (with a few exceptions) can participate in our WP design contest and the prizes are just as fabulous as ever!

First Prize is $1,000 and 5 years free hosting on our Basic Plan

Second Prize is 3 years free hosting + $300 cash

Third Prize is 1 year free hosting + $100 cash

During Series 2 of this contest, our CEO randomly chose a Runner Up Prize of 1 year free hosting, so this time around, we’d like to extend the following prizes for Series 3:

CEO Choice: The Theme that impresses our CEO the most wins 1 Year Hosting

Staff Choice: The Theme with the most staff votes wins 1 Year Hosting.

To enter for your chance at $1,000 and 5 Years Hosting, just submit a NEW WordPress theme using the form provided. Every week starting August 4, we’ll be posting our top 5 favorite WordPress themes for our community to vote on. You may submit as many WordPress themes as you’d like and as a change of pace, we may also choose a theme for the top 5 of the week from a previous week if we feel it deserves a chance.

The winner of each week will be announced the following week and has a guaranteed spot in the Final 15 that we’ll announce on October 22, 2008!

New submission entries will close on October 12, 2008, and the Top 15 WordPress Themes will be announced October 22, 2008, via our Web Hosting Blog. These winners will be featured in our October 2008 Web Hosting Newsletter!
